Brida has decided that she likes the number 3.41 because her weight keeps going back to it. The nurses bumped her calories back up to 27 kcal today to see if she can tolerate it now.
We got her kidney ultrasound results back today. It looked like she has a mild constriction in one of her calices (tubes exiting out of the kidneys). This could ultimately lead to an infection, so they decided to run another test in the cath lab. Brida hated this and is starting to not like the radiologist so much. The cath lab test confirmed the ultrasound results. The conclusion is that they may have to put her on antibiotics at some point, but she should be OK for now. The constriction may resolve itself in a year's time.
